The University of Minnesota has been selected to be a lead study center in the National Children's Study to assess the effects of environmental and genetic factors on child and human health in the United States. This will be the largest and most comprehensive study of child and human health ever conducted in the United States.






The University of Minnesota held a Kick-off Event at the McNamara Alumni Center on Wednesday, January 16, 2008.
Study investigators and staff, joined by members of the Community and Investigator Advisory Boards, representatives of study partners and others supporters came together to get to know one another and celebrate the beginning of this historical national initiative to improve the health and well-being of children.
